COVID MURPH
Memorial Day is this Monday and to Crossfitters that means MURPH. This year, we want you to take responsibility for yourself...
Now that we‘re coming out of quarantine and gyms are opening back up, take a second to think about how active you’ve been recently. Be really honest with yourself.
Here are some options to consider if you were thinking of doing Murph this Monday:
1️⃣ Don’t do it (we choose this option)
2️⃣ Sub out pull ups for sit ups
3️⃣ Perform the workout with a group of 3-4 people to lower volume/reps
Most of us haven’t had access to a pull up bar for the past 2 months. This means most of us are not ready to tackle Murph, or any benchmark workout for that matter. Be good to yourselves. Start slowly when coming back to the gym. Move at 40% of the weights/intensity you did prior to quarantine. Your body will thank you later. #alwaysplaythelonggame#cfzstrong#fitness
