Spotlight Athlete- Ken Watson

Ken Watson is our new spotlight athlete and we are so excited to have him a part of our family. if you catch him in one of the evening classes you know he is the one you want to workout with. He brings joy and laughter to any group he’s a part of. Not to mention how determined he is to conquer any workout and any Olympic movement that comes his way. When he came to us he was already putting in the hard work on his own, however the group classes have created even more of a challenge for him and he’s definitely benefited from them. We could take 5 more ken’s and be very happy! His laugh is contagious, his work ethic is inspiring and his discipline is visible to all. Take a second and read his words below. it won’t take too long since he doesn’t enjoy the spotlight and was short with his words but he does deserve it! What brought you to CrossFit Zachary in the first place? 
Curiosity and what was CrossFit

What was your first impression?
First day I did 100 wall balls I was scared at first watching every body else do them easily!

How has that changed?
I can do most workouts now compared to day 1. I’m still working on flexibility and mobility!

What was your first “bright spot, (PR)? 

Benchpressed over 300😁

What are you working on now?
Getting a flatter stomach/ belly ( can't put the whiskey yet )

What's your favorite CrossFit Zachary memory?
